Eligibility

• Must be under 31 years of age.
• Completed an engineering degree in the last 2 years from a specified institution.

• Meet health and character requirements.
• Clear any debts owed to the Australian Government.
• Sign the Australian values statement.

Engineering Qualifications Include

• Bachelors, Masters, Doctoral degrees or Postgraduate diplomas in fields like civil, structural, chemical, environmental, electrical, electronics, mechanical, mining, and material engineering.

Who Can’t Apply?

• Those with previously cancelled or refused visas in Australia.
• If the visa isn’t in the best interest for applicants under 18.

Duration

• Temporary visa for 18 months.
• Extensions are not possible; apply for a different visa for a longer stay.

Family

• Family members can be included in your application and must meet health and character requirements.
• Once the visa is granted, family can join you in Australia using Form 1276.

• Apply from inside or outside Australia.
• Must be outside Australia when the visa is granted, unless holding a Special Category (subclass 444) visa.
