Student Visa Extension Made Easy

Did you know? From 1 July 2019 to 31 December 2020, out of the 101,881 student visa applications submitted within Australia, a whopping 93,121 were approved?

Moving to Australia for studies is exciting but can also be overwhelming. Some students might find it challenging to complete their courses within the visa period due to various reasons.

Navigating the student visa extension process can seem like a mountain to climb. But, that’s where we come in. At Visawizer Education and Migration Services, we’re here to simplify the process for you.

After you apply for a student visa extension with us, you’ll receive a bridging visa. This lets you keep studying and working under specific conditions while your application is processed.

Bridging Visa Guidelines 8105 – Work Restrictions

Before your study course begins, no working in Australia is allowed.
While your study course is ongoing, limit your work to no more than 40 hours every two weeks.

Exceptions

  • If your course requires certain work as a mandatory component, as listed in the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students, you’re good to go.
  • For Subclass 574 (Postgraduate Research Sector) visa holders, once you start your master’s by research or a doctoral degree, the above restrictions don’t apply.
