About the Student Visa (subclass 500)

• This visa lets you study, live, and even work part-time in Australia.
• Travel in and out of Australia anytime.
• Work up to 40 hours every two weeks when your course is ongoing, and full-time during breaks.
• Duration? Mostly your course length plus two months. Generally, it’s up to 5 years. But for kids in Year 1-4, it’s a 3-year visa.
